Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy Last Revised: February 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how Fidelity Investments Canada ULC (“Fidelity,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information in the course of our interactions with you. It also describes certain rights and choices available to you regarding your personal data. This Policy applies to investors, financial advisors, investment professionals, and any other individuals who engage with us — including through our websites and mobile applications — such as fidelity.ca, wealth.fidelity.ca, privatewealth.fidelity.ca, getinvestly.com, and the Investly™ app (collectively referred to as “Fidelity Sites”). Please note that this Policy does not govern the personal information of Fidelity employees or job applicants, which is addressed under a separate internal policy. This Policy serves as an informational notice only and does not create any contractual obligations beyond those arising under applicable law.

Overview

Fidelity limits the collection of personal information to what is reasonably necessary to deliver products and services, fulfill regulatory and tax obligations, support electronic document delivery, and manage identity verification and account access. For advisors accessing the restricted section of fidelity.ca, personal information is collected to facilitate relevant communications about products and services, as well as for authentication and access management.

Your personal information may be shared, on a confidential basis, with third-party service providers engaged to support functions such as the preparation and distribution of client account statements. We may also share information with affiliated Fidelity companies, other financial institutions, government bodies, and — where applicable — with your advisor or investment professional. Any such sharing occurs only for the purposes described in this Policy or in additional notices provided to you, including completing transactions, delivering services, or meeting legal requirements such as tax reporting obligations. Information shared with your advisor or investment professional is limited to what is directly relevant to your relationship and necessary to support the products and services provided within that context.

Your personal information may be stored and processed by Fidelity affiliates and third-party service providers located both within Canada and internationally. All service providers and affiliates are required to maintain strict confidentiality and to use your information solely for the specific purpose of delivering their designated services to Fidelity.

How We Collect Your Information

Personal information is gathered through both direct and indirect interactions with you. Direct interactions may occur when you contact us by phone or in writing, or when you visit a Fidelity Site. Indirect interactions may occur through your advisor or investment professional. Information collected across Fidelity’s various business lines may be combined to build a profile of your preferences and interactions — both in person and across digital channels — enabling us to serve you with more relevant products, services, and communications.

How We Protect Your Information

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information through a combination of physical, electronic, and procedural controls, which are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect evolving requirements and technological advancements. When you access our online services, we employ a range of protective measures — including firewall technology, data encryption, and authentication protocols — to maintain the integrity and security of your session.

Online Tracking and Cookies

When you visit our Fidelity Sites, we may automatically collect technical and navigational data, including browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and session duration. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to support the functionality of our sites and to present you with relevant product and service promotions. You have the option to decline or remove cookies, or to opt out of promotional communications at any time. While Fidelity advertises on third-party websites, we do not authorize those parties to use data collected on our behalf for any purpose beyond facilitating Fidelity’s advertising activities.

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal information and to inquire about its accuracy and completeness. We will respond to all such requests within 30 days of receipt. You may also withdraw your consent — in whole or in part — for our use of your personal information, subject to applicable legal limitations. Please be aware that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide certain products or services to you.

For more detailed information on any of the topics covered above, please refer to the relevant sections of our full Privacy Policy.
